Swipe it Forward
Food security on campuses is a growing concern nationwide. Various studies have shown upwards to 48 % of students in the U.S experience some level of food insecurity, with 22% experiencing high levels of food insecurity. University of North Dakota students are not exempt from food security concerns.
To address campus food insecurity, the University of North Dakota has implemented the Swipe it Forward meal donation program. Students with a current UND meal plan can donate a portion of their unused bonus meals or dining dollars to help hungry classmates.
