Each spring, The University of North Dakota in conjunction with the National Student Employment Association (NSEA) coordinates a Student Employee of the Year program to recognize the outstanding contributions and achievements of students who work while attending UND.
Supervisors may nominate an outstanding employee for SEOTY whom they feel warrant particular recognition for their performance on the job. Nominations will be judged on the following characteristics: reliability, quality of work, initiative, professionalism, and the uniqueness of the student’s contribution to the employer.
The winner of the SEOTY at UND is also submitted for consideration for SEOTY at the state and regional level.
Eligible students include all student employees that have been employed for a minimum of six months part-time between June 1, 2017 and May 31, 2018 (anticipated).
Nominations for the 2019 Student Employee of the Year will be accepted beginning in January 2019.
