Change your contact information for UND
Use of chosen or preferred name and updating your legal name
It's important for you to keep UND up-to-date with your current address and contact information. The legal name listed in Campus Connection is the way your name will appear on your diploma, and your listed home address will be used for almost all mailed correspondence.
To change your contact information:
- Log in to Campus Connection
- Click Campus Personal Information in the main menu
- Click on a menu item to view/update your
- Click Save button

National and State resources – Name and Gender Marker Change
Update personal information with the Social Security Administration
State of North Dakota and Minnesota Legal Name and Gender Marker Changes
Includes changing your legal name, driver’s license and birth certificate
- Ensure the letter states “gender role transition has been completed” (DMV firmly requires that specific statement).
On-Campus Gender Inclusive Housing Options
