The Children and Family Services Training Center (CFSTC) serves as the primary training agency for child welfare services in North Dakota and is funded by the North Dakota Department of Human Services Division of Children and Family Services.
The goals of the CFSTC are to:
- Design and provide training opportunities for child welfare practitioners and foster parents.
- Serve as a resource center for child welfare training activities.
The CFSTC was established in the Department of Social Work at the University of North Dakota in 1984 through a partnership with the Division of Children and Family Services in the North Dakota Department of Human Services.
