UND’s design features two primary graphic elements. These elements should be used correctly and consistently to represent the University. For additional details on the official design elements and direction on how to apply them properly, contact identity@UND.edu to request the UND Look Tools Kit.
Forward arrows are used to heighten the visual impact of background content and photography. The arrow is composed of 56 degree angles. The arrows are symmetrical and always point to the right, showing forward movement. They are applied to the design with light opacity.
Forward arrows can only be used in UND gray (on colors and photos that are light) and in white (on colors and photos that are dark).
Slashes are used to frame and punctuate content and photography. Slashes are composed of 56 degree angles. Slashes are always parallel to the closest horizontal side of the nearest forward arrow.
Slashes can only be used in UND green (on colors and photos that are light) and in white (on colors and photos that are dark).
